Munich, 16 May 2023. It's finally that time again: LucyBalu, the label for trendy cat furniture and accessories, has today officially announced the start of the Catmodel Contest 2023. The competition brings together the most elegant, charming and photogenic cats in Europe and gives them the chance to showcase their beauty and their incomparable style on social media. For the third time, LucyBalu is looking for unique and confident furry friends ready to shine as cover model for GELIEBTE KATZE magazine and as testimonial for LucyBalu.

Now we look forward to discovering the brightest up-and-coming stars in this field!"
Only one velvet paw on the winner's podium
Taking part in the Catmodel Contest 2023 couldn't be simpler. Cat owners can register their fluffy models on the official LucyBalu website (sign up here). Entries will be accepted from today and the application deadline is 18 June 2023.
After that, the best candidates will be chosen on social media by the cat-lover community, and will then have the chance to prove their skills in a glamorous final. To this end, LucyBalu will invite eight cats to Munich for a live shoot at the end of July. For shy cats or furry friends for whom the journey would be too stressful, there is the option of taking part in a home shoot within their own four walls.
The velvet paw that makes it onto the winner's podium in the end will be rewarded with an abundance of prizes. The winning cat will serve as brand ambassador for LucyBalu for one year and will appear on the cover of Europe's most popular cat magazine GELIEBTE KATZE. There is also LucyBalu furniture and accessories to be won.
